The treatment that looks dramatic on Instagram is, underneath the photos, one of the most legitimately medical things a med spa offers: your own platelets, drawn and concentrated on site, driven into your skin to trigger collagen production. At DNJ, the blood draw, the PRP processing, and the treatment are all done by a registered nurse.
Microneedling creates thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin, which triggers your body’s repair response: new collagen, new elastin. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) supercharges that response: a small blood draw is spun in a centrifuge to concentrate your platelets and growth factors, which are then applied and needled into the skin while the channels are open.
Nothing synthetic. Nothing you could be allergic to. It’s your own repair system, concentrated and aimed.
Acne scarring and uneven texture
Fine lines and early skin laxity
Enlarged pores
Dull, tired-looking skin
Overall tone and “glow,” the result patients mention most
PRP is also the core of Diana’s under-eye rejuvenation and PRP hair restoration treatments.
Numbing cream goes on first and takes about 30 minutes. The blood draw is standard, the same as any lab visit, and yes, it’s done by a nurse who has drawn blood for twenty years. The microneedling itself takes 20 to 30 minutes and feels like light sandpaper over numbed skin.
You’ll leave red. Plan for it: most patients look sunburned for one to three days, with light flaking after. Skip makeup for 24 hours and big events for three or four days. The trade-off arrives at week four to six, when the new collagen starts showing: smoother texture, tighter pores, and skin that looks lit from within. Results keep improving for months, and a series of three treatments spaced about a month apart delivers the results the treatment is known for.
Honest answer: microneedling alone is a good treatment, and for some patients it’s the right starting point. Adding PRP meaningfully accelerates healing and deepens results, and most patients who do both notice the difference. At your consultation Diana will tell you which version fits your skin and budget, not just the more expensive one.

In trained medical hands, yes. PRP uses your own blood, so there’s nothing to be allergic to. The safety variable is the provider: sterile blood handling is nursing work, and here it’s done by a nurse.
You’re numbed for 30 minutes first. Most patients describe the sensation as light sandpaper: uncomfortable in spots, not painful.
Expect to look sunburned for one to three days, with possible light flaking after. Most patients are back to makeup and normal life within 48 hours.
One session gives visible glow. Texture, scarring, and lasting change come from a series of three, spaced about four weeks apart.
An early glow within the first week, real collagen changes from week four to six, continuing to improve for several months.
