At most med spas, you meet your injector for the first time when the needle comes out. At DNJ, there’s one provider, and you’re reading her story right now.

I’m Diana James, a registered nurse, and I didn’t take the usual road into aesthetics.
My career started in hospital trauma units and mother-baby care. Trauma nursing teaches you two things you never lose: how to work with absolute precision under pressure, and how to really look at a patient. Not the chart, the person. Mother-baby care taught the other half: gentleness, patience, and how much it matters that someone feels safe in your hands.
Eight years ago I brought all of that into aesthetic medicine, and I found the work I was built for. Aesthetics is still medicine (anatomy, dosing, sterile technique, judgment), but the outcome is something I get to watch happen in real time: a patient looks in the mirror and recognizes the version of themselves they’d been missing.
I opened DNJ Medical Aesthetics to practice that kind of medicine my way. One provider. Real consultations. Conservative dosing. Honest answers, including “you don’t need that.” If that sounds like the kind of care you’ve been looking for, I’d love to meet you.

Your face isn’t a menu of treatment areas. Every plan starts with how your features work together (bone structure, volume, movement) and what will actually change what you see in the mirror.
You can always add more at a follow-up. You can’t un-inject. I’d rather you come back in two weeks for a touch-up than walk out overdone.
Some days the honest answer is a cheaper treatment, a different treatment, or no treatment yet. You’ll always get that answer here.
Every treatment plan at DNJ is grounded in physician-level oversight. As our Medical Director, Dr. Sundar Natarajan reviews our clinical protocols, patient screening standards, and the medications and devices used in the practice, holding our care to the same standard you’d expect from any physician’s office.
That partnership is what makes DNJ’s model work: the warmth and consistency of one dedicated injector, paired with the accountability of physician-led supervision. It’s a layer of safety most med spas simply don’t have, built quietly into every visit so you can focus on your results.
You’ll find us at 9030 Brentwood Blvd, Suite A, inside Tribe Salon in Brentwood: a private treatment studio with free parking, an easy drive from Antioch, Oakley, Discovery Bay, and Pittsburg. Appointments run Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and they’re never double-booked: your time on the schedule is yours.
A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. Bring your questions, bring the photo of what’s bothering you, and leave with a plan and a price.
